CRC Employment and Entrepreneurial Services, Inc. Has Announced the Next B.O.S.S. Academy

The Milwaukee-based non-profit known for championing self-sufficiency for underserved individuals is seeking applicants for their B.O.S.S. Business Series 2022.

October 4, 2022, Milwaukee, Wisconsin – CRC Employment and Entrepreneurial Services, Inc. (CRCEE, INC.) is pleased to announce the launch of its innovative B.O.S.S. Academy. The four-week training program is aimed at aspiring entrepreneurs as well as established small business owners. One of the primary goals of this initiative is to assist entrepreneurs in laying a solid foundation for long-term success and longevity. The CRCEE is currently taking applications, which will be accepted through October 10, 2022. The B.O.S.S. Academy will be held on four Saturdays, November 12, 19, and December 3, 10, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Greater New Birth Church8201 W Silver Spring Dr

“The B.O.S.S. and CRC Employment and Entrepreneurial Services, Inc. programs are working to increase entrepreneurship resilience throughout the state of Wisconsin, with a special emphasis on building minority businesses in the Milwaukee area. We provide business development, mentoring, and networking services through business ideation and customized strategies,” says founder and Executive Director Cynthia R. Brown (CeCe).

Furthermore, through sound planning, training, empowerment, and mentoring, the Milwaukee Non-Profit aims to disrupt poverty and the systematic barriers that prevent underserved communities from succeeding in employment or entrepreneurship.

The upcoming B.O.S.S. Academy will provide attendees with a wealth of useful information and benefits, including

  •   Accounting/Bookkeeping
  •   Human Resources
  •   Marketing
  •   Opportunity to Pitch to Angel Investors, Community Leaders, and Stake Holders (Cash prizes up to 5k)

And, at the end of the program, there will be a Graduation Gala to celebrate. ​

The B.O.S.S. Academy, led by CRCEE, an organization dedicated to addressing the socioeconomic needs of underserved communities and individuals, will feature a roster of highly regarded professional instructors with a wide range of specializations. Likewise, the B.O.S.S. Business Series 2022 promises to provide participants with business development, mentoring, and networking opportunities using business ideation and customized strategies that will propel them forward and ensure their continued success.

This excellent business development program requires a four-week commitment and applicants must be at least 18 years old. A $25 non-refundable application fee is required, as well as a 500-word Motivation Letter, two letters of reference, and a $225 tuition fee if accepted into the program. Scholarships are available to qualified participants.

This vital program is yet another way CRC Employment and Entrepreneurial Services conducts its mission by ensuring that job seekers are equipped and empowered to secure jobs and the resources they need to become self-sufficient, earn a living wage, and be fully integrated into their communities.
